My Brother was recently widowed and is finding things really hard to cope as he has three young children and works full-time. I told him about him getting some help with childcare costs and he is now going to look into it to see what he would be entitled to. He has got back to his job as he feels that is the only way he can cope with his loss and grief he is trying to deal with, he likes to keep himself busy when he is down about anything as that is the only way he can cope. He went to the benefits agency and told them his position after loosing his Wife and having to bring up his three children. He was told that he will get help with his child minder costs and also help with child tax credit which will give him such a boost after all he has to deal with. He actually is not too bad off money wise as they are giving him quite a bit in benefits to help out with the children. He also can get help with counselling for the children and himself as he was advised it would help the children to overcome their grieving and help them all to move on and cope with the terrible thing that they have all been through at such a young age.
